*Vivo V30 Lite Debuts with AMOLED 120Hz, Snapdragon 695, and 50MP
Selfie Camera*
The latest
creation from the Chinese tech giant, Vivo, has just been unveiled - the Vivo
V30 Lite. This marks the introduction of the company's new V30 series.
Interestingly, the lineup breaks away from the naming tradition, being the
first in the V-series to sport an even number, unlike the previous odd V29,
V27, and V25 monikers.
The Vivo V30
Lite is a performance and design hybrid, featuring the Snapdragon 695 SoC, a
generous 12GB of RAM, and a spacious 256GB of internal storage. On the software
side, it runs on Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13, although specific details
about potential OS updates remain unconfirmed.
One of the
standout features of the V30 Lite is its AMOLED E4 display, spanning 6.67
inches with a 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. It breaks barriers
with a peak brightness of 1,150 nits. Not only does the device look impressive,
but it is also designed for comfort and ease of use, with a slim 7.69mm profile
and a weight of 190g.
The camera
setup on the V30 Lite is commendable. The rear quad-lens array includes a 64MP
primary shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
However, the real highlight is the massive 50MP selfie camera, promising
exceptional self-portraits. The rear cameras of Vivo's latest 5G smartphone
feature an Aura Light circular flash, as depicted in the images.
In addition to
its camera capabilities, the V30 Lite ticks all the boxes for connectivity and
additional features. It comes with 5G antennas and an IP54 rating, making the
device resistant to dust and splashes. Other notable features include an
in-display fingerprint scanner and NFC support.
The Vivo V30
Lite is making its debut in Mexico with a price tag of MXN8,999 (~USD 530/ PKR
147,500). Available in two chic colors – Black Forest and Rose Gold – the
device makes a bold statement. While its availability in other markets is yet
to be confirmed, the V30 Lite is expected to embark on a
global journey soon.
