Gold prices surged by Rs300 per tola on Tuesday in the local market, driven by an uptick in international market rates.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association reported that gold rates had reached Rs216,400 per tola. Simultaneously, the price of 10-gram gold witnessed a rise of Rs257, reaching Rs185,528.
In the global market, gold rates experienced a $3 increase, reaching $2,050 per ounce. Silver rates, however, remained steady at Rs2,660 per tola, with 10-gram silver rates maintaining the same level at Rs2,280.52. It's worth noting that local market prices are adjusted with a $20 premium over international rates.
